Instant Fail Ventrillo

The Instant Fail Ventrillo server is beginning at times to near its capacity of fifty users. Unfortunately only about two of these users at any given time are actually registered on the website.

Should I...

a) Make it members only and set a server password.

b) Increase the user limit.

c) Eat cookies and forget about it.

I know Ventrillo servers aren't exactly expensive, but they aren't free either. It all adds up!

im all for cookies' but maybe we you could keep it free for a week & advertise them to join before such&such a date to get a Password to the the server then make the server private After the aloted time? just an idea but as i said im all for cookies

I guess you don't want to alienate the people on the server already. If we force them to register, they will likely register and never post... nothing achieved.

I'm gonna sleep on it and I'll post again tomorrow.

Meh, I don't know. And what about the second Ventrillo server?

Shouldn't that one just be merged into the first one to lower costs?

I have advertised the main public ventrillo server on their private one and have given them their own passworded channel on the public server.

The private server will be taken off-line to minimize expenditure.

The public one will operate as normal.
